About Us

H Pollock Ltd The Diamond Trade Centre is owned and run by Stephen Pollock and his wife Marilyn. Stephen is the third generation of jewellers in his family. His grandfather started the business in 1935 with a small shop in Gorton, Manchester. He offered quality jewellery at competitive prices.

The business thrived and by 1940 he had four shops. His four sons joined him when they left school and in 1955 they opened H Pollock Ltd. (wholesale jewellers) in the centre of Manchester. Stephen joined the business in 1964 and with two moves, in the area, now has a spacious showroom.

Most of our business is from recommendation and we have generations of families who come to us for their jewellery.
